Meet The Practictioners

Dr. Rhonda Steinke
From a young age, Dr. Steinke realized the category of medicine she was most interested in was the prevention of illness and education of health and natural medicine.  Dr. Steinke’s desires helped her graduate from Marquette University with a degree in Biomedical Sciences followed by a doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine at Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, AZ.

Dr. Steinke believes she was blessed to have discovered Naturopathic Medicine for it includes what she defines as health and prevention of disease in conjunction with science.  As a Naturopathic Physician, Dr. Steinke’s training allows her to recognize when conventional medicine is necessary and when alternative medicine can be utilized.  Dr. Steinke enjoys customizing each patient plan using alternative modalities including dietary suggestions, clinical nutrition, herbal medicine, lifestyle and counseling, hydrotherapy, and homeopathy.  Yet, she most enjoys using homeopathy and believes it is a very potent modality.  Dr. Steinke works with all situations but has the most experience with women’s medicine and pediatrics.

Dr. Steinke is passionate on educating the public on the profession of Naturopathic Medicine.  Her goal is to provide the public with the affordable choice of an educated, reliable source for consultation on alternative and integrative medicine.  She is accomplishing this goal by holding the role of President of the Texas Association of Naturopathic Physicians.

In her spare time Dr. Steinke enjoys spending time with her fiancée Dr. Potts and her dog Payton, gardening, hiking, hunting medicinal and edible mushroom, and visiting her dad’s farm in Mukwonago, Wisconsin.

Dr. Jeff Potts
Dr. Jeffrey Potts graduated, with his BSBA, from the University of Tulsa in 1999 and subsequently earned his doctorate in naturopathic medicine from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in 2007.

Dr. Potts’ practice attracts mostly adults and children who have not been satisfied with their results using the conventional medical system. He sees mainly patients with chronic diseases, including but not limited to autoimmune diseases, migraines, arthritis, fibromyalgia, autism, multiple sclerosis, allergies, thyroid dysfunction, psychiatric disorders, chronic fatigue, diabetes and inflammatory bowel disease.

In his practice, Dr. Potts uses primarily classical homeopathy, supported by applied kinesiology. Dr. Potts has chosen to focus on homeopathy because in his experience it is the “most effective healing modality available in that it does not just alleviate or palliate symptoms but can actually stimulate the body’s self healing mechanisms”. He has studied under world-renowned master homeopaths including Dr. Stephen Messer, ND and Dr. Andre Saine, ND.

Dr. Potts also has a passion for natural health and lifestyle counseling. “Healthy living and disease prevention doesn't happen at the conventional doctor's office. The road to better health is made with the choices that we make every day”.

In his free time, Dr. Potts enjoys spending time outdoors with his dog Payton, hiking, mountain biking, camping, gardening and hunting for medicinal and gourmet mushrooms. His ultimate dream is to have a self- sustainable organic farm involving the community where they can grow and teach together.

Dr. Potts is certified as IfHI Blood Type Diet practitioner and holds professional memberships with the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians, Texas Association of Naturopathic Physicians, the National Center for Homeopathy and the Institute for Human Individuality.
